KS-EXCKICK-2-ADJÂ Install Instructions
1: Remove the 2 oem kickstand springs, this is best done with a spring puller. Save these springs as you will be reusing them
2: Remove the OEM Torx pivot bolt. Save this bolt as you will be reusing it with the new kickstand
3: next we need to determine which sprong bracket you bike requires. The brackets are labeled, the year is the best indicator to which bracket you need or simply match the bracket to the bracket on your oem kickstand
Bracket (bent tab) 2018 – Current Models         Bracket (flat) is 2008 – 2017 models
4: using the included Torx T25 screw and bushing install like in the picture below making sure the larger base section of the bushing is against the kickstand. Use the red threadlock on the threads of the torx bolt and tighten. The spring bracket will easily swing with play.
5: Reinstall the oem Torx pivot bolt. We also recommend using a red threadlock on this bolt.
Note…if your bike had the oem tapered spacer between the bolt head and machined pivot of the kickstand we do not recommend installing it. This spacers contacts the spring bracket and makes the kickstand very difficult to keep in the down position. If your bike had this spacer you will need a shorter kickstand bolt from KTM part # 0019080206S
6: reinstall the oem springs. It is usually best to install the springs into the spring bracket first and then stretch into the frame catch.
